Rugby brand appoints former Wales international as sales director
06/12/2010
Jason Critchley was a professional Rugby Union player and coach for 16 years, but also represented Wales eleven times at the 13-player version of the game. Stash said this experience makes him “ a great fit” as the brand has built itself a strong reputation for “high performance, radically styled rugby clothing and leisure wear”, although part of its focus now is to develop into a multi sport brand.
On taking up the appointment, the former Wales international said: “I have always felt that Stash was the best brand in the business so it’s great to be joining it at a time when it is moving to the next level. I am looking forward to helping make the brand more accessible. I have started with a focus on the UK operation, and have my sights set on starting up an overseas team in the medium term.”
Stash Sportswear was set up in 2002. A new management team took over in early 2010 to ensure robust financial management and secure investment for its future development.
