Record attendance at November Performance Days

The November edition of the Performance Days event (November 18–19 in Munich and November 23–24 in Annecy) attracted 60% more visitors than in April 2010.

Unlike on previous occasions, visitors this time came from much further afield than the main markets of Germany and France, with some coming from as far away as Australia and the US. In all 21 different countries were represented. There were around 70 exhibitors from 15 countries displaying functional fabrics and accessories.

In a busy, friendly atmosphere, exhibitors showed off their latest innovations and trends for the winter 2012–13 season and helped visitors from leading brands finalise their summer 2012 collections.

In addition, there were conference sessions on colour management, fabric functions and sustainability.

The event will next take place on May 12–13 in Annecy and on May 16–17 in Munich. The venue for the Munich event is changing, with the May edition taking place at the MTC Münchner Mode- und Textilcenter GmbH, which offers the organisers more space to help them cope with increasing demand.
