Seminar series to continue at Outdoor Retailer

09/12/2010
Following a successful debut in August, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC) and textile resource and garment production service Concept III will once again combine to present a free seminar during the Outdoor Retails exhibition in Salt Lake City in January.

The theme this time will be measuring and explaining comfort in performance textiles and the session will cover thermophysiological, sensory, ergonomic and psychological aspects.

One of the principal speakers will be Karen Kyllo, global deputy vice-president for soft lines at testing and research provider SGS. There will also be speakers from prominent outdoor brands.

The seminar will be held on Thursday, January 20, at the Deer Valley Salon at the Salt Lake City Marriott Downtown opposite the exhibition venue, starting at 9.00 am. Retailers, product developers, merchandisers, and all attendees at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market are invited to attend.
