Helly Hansen introduces 2011 collections
Norwegian sports and outdoor apparel brand Helly Hansen has unveiled its spring-summer 2011 collections. The new lines include products ranging from technical outdoor and watersports apparel to an assortment of lifestyle sportswear.
Under the technical range, the collection builds on the brand’s technological expertise, using HH Cool fabrics and quick drying LIFA technology on the inside for dryness, with a polyester exterior to evaporate sweat and cool the skin. In addition, a new series of breathable, windproof jackets has been designed to help athletes regulate body temperature in cool conditions.
The outdoor technical collection uses the Odin series of outerwear, insulators and base layers, and sees the introduction of the Odin Lightweight Jacket, designed to meet the tough specifications of mountain guides.
The collection also includes a rainwear range of lightweight, durable Dakota and Anchorage jackets for men, and Aspen and Vancouver jackets for women.
For the watersports range, Helly Hansen’s new Hydro Power series of dry tops, waterproof smocks, jackets, pants and sportswear will also be launched.
In the footwear watersports range the new Water Moc shoe provides protection from rocks and dries quickly when out of water.
