Euratex elects new president

The European Apparel and Textile Confederation (Euratex) has named Alberto Paccanelli as its next president for a two-year term of office.

Mr Paccanelli is co-owner of Italian home textile manufacturer the Martinelli Ginetto Group. Prior to this he was chief executive of the Linificio and Canapificio Group.

“I intend to strengthen the role of Euratex at European level and across the industry,” he said at the time of the announcement.
