Cepovett chooses Klopman-Cordura combination for new workwear line

“The Craftworker workwear apparel line provides end-users with durable and comfortable workwear that does not compromise on style,” said Franck Brunel, commercial director for Cepovett. “Klopman Vantage fabric featuring Cordura technology [offers] exceptional durability, high strength and outstanding comfort.”
The Klopman Vantage fabric is based on a blend of Invista’s T420 nylon 6.6 fibre and combed cotton, in a 250 grammes per square-metre twill construction in black, brown and khaki. Vantage fabric will be used for full garments as well as reinforcement patches.
Cepovett said it had developed Craftworker in response to market demand and current trends. In recent years, consumers of workwear clothing have abandoned the classic boiler suit, which dominated workwear apparel for years, in favour of functional, high-quality and stylish garments.
“We are honoured that Cepovett chose the Vantage Fabric featuring Cordura in its quest to launch a new durable, stylish and comfortable workwear line,” said Cordura European brand manager, Susannah Rayfield. “Cordura is a perfect fit for this apparel line due to the demanding daily activities and working conditions these professionals encounter.”
The range is also targeted at workers in the professional trades and the public sector. The workwear clothing line consists of coordinating functional garments—such as jackets, gilets, trousers and coveralls—creating a professional and fashionable appearance. The garments, which will be launched in May 2010, will feature Cordura sew-in-labels and hangtags.
