Quiksilver signs with Reliance to launch in India
Reliance Brands has announced that it has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with US-based sportswear company Quicksilver to launch the brand in India and its surrounding countries.
“Our association with Quiksilver will introduce a casual, fun and adventurous lifestyle to the discerning Indian youth,” said Reliance Brands president and CEO Darshan Mehta.
As part of the agreement, Reliance brands will launch sportswear, footwear, eyewear and other accessories under the brands ‘Quicksilver’ and ‘Roxy’ in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.
Launched in 1990, Roxy is an outdoor fashion brand for the girl offering sportswear, swimwear, outerwear, footwear, bags, eyewear and other accessories.
Based in California, Quiksilver’s products are available in over 90 countries across the globe.
