Tough economic climate drives workwear innovation
14/01/2011
The Workwear and Corporate Clothing Show, which will take place in the UK city of Coventry on April 5 and 6 is of increasing relevance, the organisers have said, because of the economic downturn of 2008 from which the UK is still emerging.
With rising cotton prices, a global recession and austerity measures in place in the UK, the workwear industry is going through a crucial period, the organisers continued, adding: “The tough climate is driving product innovation as suppliers and manufacturers continually strive for best value for their customers, without compromising on quality.”
Now in its fourth year, the 2011 event will include workwear brands such as Pacific Brands, Men’s Wearhouse, Rock Fall, Cordura, Incorporatewear, Hunter Apparel, William Sugden & Son, Sharon Lee, Kingfisher Apparel, Magnum, Footsure, Bootmate, The Florida Group and E Sutton & Son among the exhibitors.
Cordura will sponsor a workwear fashion show at the exhibition.
