Hincapie appoints two sales reps

Hincapie Sportswear, a US-based manufacturer of performance cycling apparel, has hired Chris Morgan and John Huenink as sales representatives in strategic markets.

 

Mr Morgan and Mr Huenink will represent Hincapie for retail cycling apparel and accessory sales to independent bicycle dealers and sell Hincapie custom cycling clothing to clubs and teams in their respective territories, according the company.

 

“We are really focusing on increasing our retail distribution this year,” said Lynn Joslin, Hincapie Sportswear national sales manager. “We are growing retail sales and improving our dealer service by hiring sales reps in strategic territories throughout the US. We expect our growth to continue as we build our team. Chris and John are all well established in their territories, and they have hit the ground running. We still have some important territories open like Southern California, New York, New Jersey and Maryland, but we’re working hard to fill those vacancies. We’re entering 2011 with strong momentum, and we’re looking forward to a great year.”

 

Mr Morgan will represent Hincapie in Florida, Alabama and Georgia. He has spent 22 years in the industry on every level from individual bicycle dealer sales to manufacturer representative. In addition to selling Hincapie, Morgan will continue to represent Cervelo and Rotor.

 

Mr Huenink will represent Hincapie in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. Huenink has 16 years of industry experience will draw on this experience to expand existing relationships and develop new ones as he grows Hincapie business in his territory. In addition to Hincapie, Mr Huenink will also continue to represent BMC, Bonk Breaker, Vittoria Cycling Shoes and Bicycle Fit Studio.
