Optimism returns at Interfilière

Exhibitors were pleased with the way the January edition of the Interfilière exhibition in Paris went, the organisers have said. They claimed that companies presenting fibres and fabrics for applications including swimwear were particularly happy about the calibre of the buyers present at the event.

As a result, organisers Eurovet said that 2011 had brought a return of optimism in the industry. There were 10,753 visitors in total, with 64% of them coming from outside France. There was a rise in the number of visitors from the US, and for the first time Russia and Turkey were in the top-ten countries represented.
