Record space sold at Outdoor Retailer Winter Market

28/01/2011
Outdoor Retailer Winter Market was busier than ever in 2011 (January 20–23), the organisers have said. Exhibitors set up their latest fabric and finished product displays on 32,500 square-metres of exhibition space, a larger area than ever before for the winter event.

The organisers said visitor attendance was also up, by 16% overall, with visitors identifying themselves as buyers up by 11%.

“During the critical buying season, we work hard to provide show features that help attendees focus on strengthening partnerships, developing future strategies and gathering intelligence that they might not see at regional events or through their reps,” said Kenji Haroutunian, Outdoor Retailer show director towards the end of the event. “From the Grand Ballroom to the back of the hall, we are hearing really positive things about the show meeting those needs.”
