Netherlands-based sports company Head will reveal its new ‘AdaptEdge’ ski boot at ispo (6-9 Feb, 2011, Germany), the first ski boot whose last can be changed with one turn of a screw.

Head Adaptive Fit Technology is based on a newly designed shell with a compression zone, placed under the forefoot. The last’s width can be easily changed from 104 mm to 102 mm with the supplied Allen key.

The Adaptive Fit Technology increases the performance radius of the worldwide successful Head Edge line; ambitious skiers will experience more precision with the 102 mm adjustment, the company says.

Adaptive Fit also provides additional security for comfort-oriented skiers, as they can adapt their last to their personal needs.
