Colourants and auxiliaries provider DyStar New is celebrating one year of operation with its new owners, Kiri Dyes & Chemicals and the Lonsen Group.

“It has been a year of tremendous hard work for all the company as we build upon our strengths to drive the company into sustainable profitability,” said DyStar CEO Steve Barron. “In our first year we over-achieved the operational plans that we had made and are now moving ahead with our next targets.”

During the year the company has proceeded with its reorganization plans and established its headquarters in Singapore. The acquisition of DyStar LP in the US gave the company direct presence in every major textile market.

“Looking back, I can say that the year was a success,” said Mr Barron. “Many customers came back to DyStar over the year and the retailers and brands with whom we work so closely have also increased their business and connections with us. I take this as a clear sign that DyStar’s brand values and focus on ecology and the environment are important in our business sector.”
