Icelandic national ski team extends 66°North deal

The Icelandic Ski Association (SKÍ) has announced an extension to an existing partnership with clothing brand 66°North. The agreement means the apparel brand will continue its support of the association and supply equipment for the country’s national teams (men’s and women’s) for a further four years.

During this period, Iceland’s national team skiers will wear clothing such as the Hlidarfjall skiwear and Heimaklettur jackets.

“We at SKÍ place great importance on renewing our partnership with the company as it has proved to be a solid supporter,” said SKÍ official, Óskar Gardarsson. “Our competitors have been extremely happy with the clothing from 66°North, and it has proven its worth in the challenging mountain conditions.”

At the moment, 66°North has more than 300 employees and runs 10 shops in Iceland under the 66°North and Rammagerdin brands.
