Hincapie signs pro triathlete Jenny Fletcher
Cycling clothing and equipment brand Hincapie Sportswear has signed professional triathlete Jenny Fletcher for the 2011 season. Ms Fletcher will compete in triathlon and multisport events wearing Hincapie custom triathlon and cycling clothing.
In addition to racing and training in Hincapie custom apparel, she will also help promote Hincapie’s line of retail cycling and triathlon apparel and accessories. “We are thrilled to welcome Jenny Fletcher to our family as a Hincapie sponsored athlete,” said Rich Hincapie, president of Hincapie Sportswear. “Jenny is one of the most popular new pros in the sport and we are confident that she will help grow our triathlon business. Since most triathletes spend the majority of their week riding in cycling apparel, she will also help us grow our core cycling business as well.” Ms Fletcher was a successful fashion model before turning her attention to the sport of triathlons. “I’m very excited to be sponsored by Hincapie this year,” she said. “As an athlete, you always want the best equipment you can find, and Hincapie makes some of the best triathlon and bicycle apparel.
