Skirt Sports signs ultramarathon runner
US women’s sports apparel brand Skirt Sports has announced its sponsorship of professional ultramarathon athlete Jamie Donaldson.
“Jamie is not only an extreme athlete, she is a great friend, inspirational woman and dedicated teather,” said Nicole DeBoom, founder and CEO of Skirt Sports. “She embodies the spirit of Skirt Sports and we are honoured to have her on our team.”
Originally from Pennsylvania, Ms Donaldson resides in Littleton, Colorado, where she trains year-round for 100 mile plus racing.
“I am beyond proud to be part of the Skirt Sports family,” she said. “Nicole and her team understand what it takes to perform on the professional level and their apparel definitely allows me focus on my racing while feeling and looking great. In fact, I wore Skirt Sports’ Gym Girl Ultra Skirt when I won Badwater last year so I’m confident that their products can handle anything if they can withstand the punishment of one of the world’s toughest races.”
Based in Boulder, Colorado, Skirt Sports was launched in 2004 by professional triathlete Nicole DeBoom.
