Norwegian adventure beckons for Blacks’ managers
08/03/2011
The training expedition will see the winning managers spend five full days trekking across the mountainous region of Rondane, Norway, experiencing life as Arctic explorers, who work and live in some of the most extreme conditions on earth, led by Inge Solheim. For over 15 years, Mr Solheim has been making adventure his life by guiding, exploring and consulting in some of the most extreme environments on the planet.
The team will be kept warm, dry and protected by Helly Hansen performance clothing.
Emma Russell, marketing manager at Helly Hansen, said on announcing the competition: “We wanted to support Blacks by providing an exciting incentive to its staff. Blacks’ staff spend a large majority of their time selling gear to those who live and breathe outdoor living, and we wanted to offer them the chance to experience this way of life for themselves, whilst putting some of our key pieces of clothing to the test. It’s crucial that staff have a good understanding of the clothing technologies they are selling, and the best way is for them to experience the benefits of the technology for themselves.”
