Adventure footwear brand Teva, a division of Deckers, has launched a competition in which one lucky UK outdoor enthusiast (and a friend) will win the chance to attend the Teva Mountain Games which take place in Vail, Colorado, in June.

The Teva Mountain Games are the USA’s largest celebration of adventure sports, art and music. Professional and amateur athletes from around
the world converge on the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in eight sports and 24 disciplines for more than $100,000 in prize money. 2011’s events include kayaking, rafting, mountain biking, road cycling, bouldering, climbing, trail running, stand up paddling and a half marathon.

The prize-winner and friend will be VIP guests at the Teva House, the epicentre of the games and the place where athletes mix and mingle in a “chilled-out but party-oriented” environment.
 
To give themselves a chance to win, outdoor enthusiasts have to become a fan of the footwear brand’s UK Facebook page and follow the link there to enter the competition before April 30. The prize includes airfare to and from Vail, plus a room at the Teva House.
