The Cassin brand of climbing equipment, part of the CAMP group, has announced a series of new products for 2011. The company said the new products were designed to be ultra light and easy to handle.

“CAMP and Cassin gear reduce weight and bulk to a minimum, in favour of performance,” said a statement from the company. “Technical harnesses, quickdraws, backpacks and accessories are the result of the constant innovation in the CAMP group.”

New products include the CAMP Photon express, a caribiner for climbing and mountaineering, the CAMP M3 Light, an ultra-light backpack for mountaineering and climbing, and the CAMP Re-chalk, a mesh fabric rechargeable bag with string and cord grip closing system.
