bluesign accreditation for PrimaLoft

This certification ensures brands, retailers and consumers that the insulation products meet bluesign's environmental and health and safety requirements without compromising on thermal performance in both dry and wet conditions.
Brands and retailers seeking to become bluesign members or achieve bluesign certification for their products are required to use bluesign-approved raw materials and fabrics from suppliers and textile mills that are certified partners.
Sebastian Baumgartner, communications for the Swiss-based organisation that runs bluesign, said at the time of the Primaloft announcement: "We are very proud to welcome PrimaLoft to our system partner network. PrimaLoft is the first ever insulation company to become a bluesign system partner.”
On behalf of her company, Primaloft's sales and marketing director, Eileen Berner, commented: “As a company with roots steeped in the outdoors, PrimaLoft is committed to taking steps to minimise our impact on the environment.
