Primus promotes new product manager from within

Swedish outdoor equipment specialist Primus has appointed a new leader of its product management team. Former product developer Eric Svartström has been promoted to the position of product manager. He joined the Primus team six years ago.

An engineer from central Sweden, Mr Svartström replaces Niklas Lagström, who decided to leave the 119-year-old company after a long and very close working relationship at the end of 2010.

“We are really, really happy to see Eric in this position,” said chief executive, Joakim Grönvik. “He already knows our company from the inside, he has a great knowledge about the products, he is very experienced in terms of development and we know that he identifies 100% with our brand.”
