US surf brand O’Neill has appointed Sasha Hartloff as the new girls’ sales manager for the swimwear and activewear categories. In her new post, Ms Hartloff will report to Steve Ward, O’Neill’s senior vice president of sales and marketing. She will oversee the O’Neill girls’ regional sales teams and lead distribution efforts for both divisions.

Key focuses will be the national retail expansion of O’Neill’s new Superkini, as well as the launch of a Spring 2012 Collection collaboration with Elyse Taylor, an Australian model who has been named as the brand’s global ambassador.

Ms Hartloff was a key account manager for Hurley and has worked at Quiksilver, Roxy Athletix and Raisins Swimwear.

“We are confident that Sasha will excel in this important leadership role for O’Neill during an exciting time for the brand,” Mr Ward said in a statement. “Her previous experience in product launches and account management will be invaluable for sales efforts as we forge ahead with our growing girls’ business.”
