Nike reveals Filipino athlete’s signature shoes

US sportswear company Nike has unveiled the latest Manny Pacquiao signature shoes due for release in time for his May 7 fight against US boxer Shane Mosley.
The shoes carry the colours of the Philippine flag – red, white and blue.
The shoes will have Mr Pacquiao’s “MP” logo on the soles plus a print of the May 7 fight date on the shoe’s tongues.
Nike, however, has yet to announce the shoe’s official release date.
Mr Pacquiao, who first teamed up with the sports apparel firm in 2007, is the first Filipino athlete to internationally endorse Nike.
Prior to his fight against Antonio Margarito last year, he launched an official Nike outfit.
He also had a special pair of Nike shoes for his fight against Ricky Hatton in 2009.
