Schoeller Textil and Formosa Taffeta celebrate ten years together

Textile technology company Schoeller Textil and Taiwanese textile manufacturer Formosa Taffeta have held an event to celebrate ten years of partnership. The two companies launched a joint venture in 2001.

Members of the two companies’ design and development teams cooperate closely through teamwork and at regular creative meetings. This results in two collections per year featuring the latest high-tech fabrics with a high level of functionality, which are used primarily in sportswear, casual wear, fashion and workwear.

A range of finishing technologies such as 3XDRY for moisture management, NanoSphere for water and
dirt repellence, coldblack for UV and heat protection or the bionic c_change climate membrane for protection from wind and water equip the fabrics with intelligent additional functions.

The joint venture is located in Hong Kong and the fabric collections are represented globally by the sales organisations of Schoeller Textil AG. It was the first Asian company to receive bluesign certification and most of the collection complies with bluesign standards.
