Lacoste celebrates 40 years with Roland Garros

French sportswear brand Lacoste is celebrating its 40th anniversary with the Roland Garros tournament exclusively at UK department store Harrods.

 

The brand is teaming up with Harrods to celebrate its association with the French Open. Back in the 1920s Rennee Lacoste won the tennis tournament three times and since the 1970s the Lacoste brand has supported and sponsored the event.

 

Harrods are stocking a limited number of exclusive products featuring the Roland Garros logo on a white polo shirt, as well as a sleeved t-shirt with an image from 1973 of the brand’s advertising campaign.
