Lealea Group aims to refocus
Taiwan-based manufacturer of synthetic fibre and nylon chips, the Lealea Group, has stated its plans to focus more on downstream garment operations.
After acquiring in 2010 the Go Hiking sportswear brand and setting up five sales outlets, Lealea will double that number to 10 this year, and is negotiating with a US-based outdoor sporting goods brand for the marketing right in Greater China, including Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and Macau.
The Lealea Group, owns synthetic fibre maker Lealea Enterprise and nylon chips supplier Li Peng Enterprise, whose combined profits last year totalled $90 million.
