US professional tennis player Andy Roddick is teaming up with French sports apparel brand Lacoste to launch his own line of sportswear. The collection will include polos, shorts, track trousers and jackets.

Mr Roddick said: “On the tour, we practically live out of a suitcase. When packing, function will always win over style, which is why I am so impressed with this new collection.”

Mr Roddick, who has endorsed Lacoste for the past six years, will wear the line exclusively when he hits the court.
