Italian outdoor brand Camp has launched a new backpack in its M range. The new product, the M5, is suitable for general mountaineering activities, the company said.

The M5 has a capacity of 50 litres but has an extendable lid to increase the volume by an additional 10 litres. Like the M4 (for high-level mountaineering) and the M3 (for ski mountaineering or ice-climbing) the M5 has backdoor opening to access all the compartments. It has a big stretch front zipped pocket to carry a snow shovel or an avalanche probe, a ski holder on the side, rope carrying webbing on the lid and a crampons holder.

It weighs 1.23 kilos.
