Cana Collection uses TransDry technology

US-based athletic apparel brand Cana Collection has adopted Cotton Incorporated’s TransDry technology to enhance its collection of active-wear. The moisture-wicking TransDry technology fits into the brand’s philosophy that athletic apparel can encompass high-performance technology without sacrificing style.

Cana Collection has used Pima cotton for the foundation of the four tops (two for women, two for men) featuring the TransDry finish.

“Our Cotton Lifestyle Monitor data reveals that when consumers were asked whether they would purchase cotton sports apparel that offered the same performance features as synthetics, almost all of them (97%) said they would prefer a cotton alternative or would be willing to try it,” said David Earley, senior director, Global Supply Chain Marketing for Cotton Incorporated, a research and marketing company designed to improve the demand for and profitability of cotton. The Lifestyle Monitor also reveals that 80% of consumers wear their athletic apparel for activities other than exercise.
