Record numbers at Performance Days in May

08/06/2011
The organisers of the Performance Days exhibition have announced “growth in all areas” at the May editions of the event, which took place in Munich and Annecy.

Record numbers of visitors visited the two locations, a record number of exhibitors presented, and there were more talks than before addressing “all the important themes for functional fabrics”.

Professional visitors increased by 65% in comparison to the April 2010 events, and by 5% compared to November 2010. The number of exhibitors also grew, in part due to the larger exhibit space in Munich, from 70 to 80 companies, representing 20 countries.

One of the organisers, Marco Weichert, said: “It confirmed for us once again that Performance Days is an indispensable event for the industry. The high quality of our exhibitors as well as our guests assures a good working climate and stimulating conversations. Besides, our trade fair is the starting point in the development of the collections and many of our partners have already announced their intentions to attend the next scheduled fair. There can be no greater compliment.”

Performance Days will next take place in Munich on November 21 and 22, and in Annecy on November 24 and 25.
