Primus appoints new chief executive

Swedish outdoor gear specialist Primus has appointed a new chief executive, Andreas Jakabffy. He took over last month from Joakim Grönvik, who will leave the brand at his own request to pursue other endeavours after the OutDoor show in Friedrichshafen (July 14–16).

Mr Jakabffy has worked for Swedish consumer product brands in Hungary, Germany and Austria. He is fluent in Hungarian, Swedish, English and German. He was previously employed, working in his home country Sweden, by S-Solar, a specialist company for solar energy.

When he was younger he was an alpine ski racer, and today has a deep passion for fishing and diving.
