Nilit to present Far Infrared Ray fibre
13/06/2011
Garments made with Innergy yarns “invigorate the body and increase feelings of well-being”, the company said in the build-up to the event. A nylon 6.6 fibre, Innergy has a built-in, naturally occurring mineral additive that creates Far Infrared Ray (FIR) emissions. The gentle heat emitted by the fibres energises the body and helps to reduce the appearance of cellulite, Nilit claims.
The company said its new product would be suitable for shapers, hosiery, lingerie and apparel applications like medical socks, gloves and sportswear, where stimulation via body heat could be beneficial to the wearer.
