Taiwanese firms to host innovation event at Friedrichshafen

The Taiwan Textile Federation is to hold a launch event at the OutDoor exhibition in Friedrichshafen in July to present a range of what it calls innovative eco and functional products.

Dr Sonja Eser, who represents the Cradle to Cradle movement, will give a keynote presentation at the event, which will take place on Saturday, 16 July. The venue will be the Liechtenstein Room in the Conference Centre West, starting at 13.00 hours.

Among the Taiwanese textile firms taking part will be Chia Her, Fabric King, Li Peng, Singtex and Taiwan Paiho. Their innovations will include NwoolTec, a functional wool , Magic Twin, which offers “intelligent stretch”, Smart Costume, with reflective technology. There will also be presentations on S.Café, Singtex’s polyester with recycled coffee grounds incorporated into the mix, and on Paiho’s Moulded Hook.
