17/06/2011
Textile dye specialist DyStar has worked with Swiss control system provider the Becatron and with German consultancy Lilienweiß to develop a new online monitoring system for indigo colouration. The system, which is based on a new technology, detects, adjusts and documents data on indigo coloration, such as concentrations of dyestuff and reducing agents as well as pH values.

The system will be presented for the first time to a broad professional audience in September 2011 during the ITMA event in Barcelona. “The technology leaders for indigo have joined forces. The result offers indigo users a further improvement of quality and right first time rates,” said Günther Widler, head of technology in the denim department at DyStar. “This will help to reduce costs and increase competitiveness.”
