EOCA hopes to beat fundraising record

23/06/2011
In anticipation of a hectic OutDoor, July 14–17, the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) is asking visitors and exhibitors to take time to plan “a bit of conservation” into their visit to the Friedrichshafen event.

The number of products on offer at a special Conservation Fundraiser event is growing and the association is confident of beating last year’s record total of EUR 20,000. All the money raised will go into conservation projects in 2012.

The Conservation Fundraiser will take place on the EOCA stand, Entrance Foyer East, from 14.00 hours to 15.00 hours on July 14, 15 and 16 and at the earlier time of 10.30 to 11.30 on July 17. Visitors will be able to pick up gear contributed by supporting outdoor brands, make a donation and help support conservation.

Brands involved include Bergans, Vaude, Keen and Smartwool.
