Sustainability talks continue

The series of summer talks organised by the Sustainability Special Interest Group (SIG) of Manchester-based industry organisation the Textile Institute will continue on June 30 with an event in Leeds.

Speakers at the event, which will take place at the University of Leeds, will include Dr Katie Beverley, a lecturer in sustainable design at the university, and her colleague, Dr Mark Taylor, a research fellow in performance clothing research. Their talk will focus on the outdoor industry with a presentation entitled Pro-environmental clothing consumption.

The events are open to all, with members of the Textile Institute paying £10 for admission and non-members £15.
