Basque football club, La Real Sociedad, has ended a 17-year association with Astore, a local sports brand and, from the start of the new season in the autumn, will wear a new kit designed by Nike.

The San Sebastián-based club presented the new shirts on June 28 and announced that sales of replica kit to fans will begin on July 8 from its official store.

This new deal means Nike will be the official kit supplier to four of the 20 teams in Spain’s first division next season, with La Real joining Málaga, Atlético Madrid and Spanish and European champions, FC Barcelona.
