Zensah launches 3D compression tights
US-based compression apparel technology firm Zensah has announced the launch of three-dimensional engineered compression tights designed to support leg muscles while helping boost performance and speed recovery time.
The tights are made with a raised fabric that provides a massaging effect to the muscles, the company says. Company spokesman Ryan Oliver said: “If athletes don’t recover properly, they risk injury. If athletes go too easy, they jeopardise losing their edge to the competition. The company believes the Zensah recovery compression tights will revolutionise how athletes train and recover.”
Professional Triathlete Joe Umphenour understands the role compression tights and muscle recovery play in a triathletes performance. “For professional athletes recovery is probably the most important aspect of our training,” he said. “Zensah compression tights have dramatically improved my ability to bounce back. They feel like they are compressing you at the right spot to help those big muscle groups recover. I feel like I have recaptured some of the recovery ability I had when I was younger.”
