Eschler to launch body forming fabric
Swiss knitwear manufacturer Eschler will introduce its new easyShape range at Interfilière in Paris, France, 9-11 July 2011.
The easyShape collection is designed to offer body forming qualities, delivering compression without feeling restrictive, the company claims. The fabric wicks moisture away from the body, and, according to Eschler, the fabrics’ modulus and the hygienic function do not decrease after multiple washes.
“As a brand that is both specialised in the lingerie business as well as sportswear, we can take shapewear to a new level,” said Eschler CEO, Peter Eschler. “For sportswear, the fabric functionality – wicking properties, temperature management, elasticity and durability – is of highest importance and directly influences the performance of the athlete. We can bring all those benefits to lingerie and thus create products that provide unique wearing comfort.”
