Löffler adds to Transtex underwear line

Austrian sportswear brand Löffler has launched a new line in its Transtex sports underwear products, Transtex Light, made from polypropylene and elastane by Creora.

As well as weight advantages, Transtex Light guarantees fast moisture transportation, Löffler has said. Polypropylene moves sweat quickly away from the skin while the fibre itself stays permanently dry. With the help of new knitting technology the underwear now offers extra comfort and additional ventilation owing to bigger ventilation holes and flat and soft seams.

Elastane by creora improves fit and offers high levels of flexibility of movement during all types of intense sport. The fibre in question is Creora eco H-550, which is a low heat set elastane, meaning the process to manufacture it saves energy compared to alternatives.

“We chose creora eco H-550 because of the fibre’s gentle touch and its energy-saving process,” Reinhard Hetzeneder, marketing director of Löffler, has said. “Combined with polypropylene it is ideal to meet our high standards for moisture transportation, comfort and perfect fit.”
