Specialist fabric and yarn producer Cocona has announced that its spring 2013 fabric collection is its most exciting yet, with soft, lightweight, better snag-resistant knit developments that reflect not only the latest market trends, but fabrics “we as outdoor enthusiasts are in search of ourselves”.

“Merino wool blends are revolutionising the way people look at merino wool,” Cocona said recently. “Our Cocona Merino fabrics have all the qualities we have come to love about merino wool, but dry faster, shrink less, and are more durable than the market leaders, making merino wool a true performance fabric for all seasons. Consistent testimony from our team of independent field testers about our Cocona merino being their favourite shirt, confirms its unique place in today’s outdoor apparel market.”

Cocona is blended with synthetics as well as natural fibres. The spring 2013 collection contains Tencel, Modal, and cotton blends, as well as spun polyester, polypropylene, and Spandex fibre offerings.
