China: estimates suggest 45% annual growth in outdoor wears sales
A market report released at the sixth Asia Outdoor Trade Show (27-30 July, China) suggests that sales of Chinese outdoor goods is growing at 45% annually.
The report said the sales expanded 45% to $2.8 billion in 2010, excluding snow boots, mountain bikes, and fishing and hunting tools.
Chinese brands of outdoor products have been growing rapidly in recent years and there are suggestions that many of them will become well known in international market by 2013.
