Indonesia needs 300,000 new textile workers

The chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association, Ade Sudrajat, has said that investment from the country’s manufacturers in the first half of the year in new textile machinery tripled compared to the same period last year.

He went on to say that demand for skilled workers in the Indonesian textile industry is also on the increase and estimated that manufacturers there would have to recruit 300,000 new people to keep up with demand.
