Oeko-Tex to take part in Barcelona event

Independent certification system for checking textiles for the presence of harmful substances Oeko-Tex will have its own stand at the ITMA exhibition in Barcelona from September 22–29.

Secretary general Dr Jean-Pierre Haug will make a presentation about the organisation’s Confidence in Textiles label and the additional possibility of having production premises with Oeko-Tex certification.

There are more than 9,500 companies in the textiles sector actively involved in the Oeko-Tex certification system at the moment.
