MMA brand launches online store
US sports apparel firm Respect Your Universe has announced it is anticipating better than expected sales as it launches a new online store.
The online store offers select t-shirts and headwear items available to buy ahead of the debut of the firm’s high performance line in spring 2012. The limited editions are available for a short time, the company said.
They include two organic cotton T-shirts and three headwear pieces.
President of the company John Wood said: “We are excited that our pre-launch apparel items are now available for mixed martial arts athletes and fans to purchase.”
With the launch of the web store, it is the first time the firm will be going into, and generating, revenue and RYU anticipates sales for the store to exceed expectations.
“In our initial product seeding of items that are now available online and eventually at retailers next spring, we have an outstanding immediate consumer reaction,” said chief executive Christopher Maartens.
