UniFirst launches new workwear line
US-based workwear company UniFirst has added a new reflective striping option to its Armorex FR flame resistant work shirts, trousers and coveralls to create a line of combined ‘Flame Resistant/Enhanced Visibility’ safety uniforms.
The new “double-duty protection” safety workwear is designed to help safeguard workers from potential burn injuries and from being struck by vehicles when working on or near roadways in low light conditions.
The new safety uniform line also features 3M Scotchlite reflective striping that encircles elbow and knee areas.
“This new flame resistant workwear line with enhanced visibility striping offers employers and their staff protective safety apparel taken to the power of two,” said Adam Soreff, director of marketing at UniFirst. “As a result, it’s an ideal solution for at risk workers who, until now, were required to don FR garments and then layer them with visibility vests when outdoor work conditions warranted the added protection. Now, these same workers can be more comfortable and safe on the job while wearing these two-in-one safety uniforms.”
