Indonesia needs more textile workers

The Indonesian textile industry will employ 300,000 new workers by 2014, the chairman of the Indonesian Textile Association (API) has said.

Ade Sudrajat Usman made the remark to local media on September 10.

The textile industry currently employs 1.3 million people, while the local footwear industry employs 500,000 people more.
