Invista hosts legwear conference

Dave Trerotola, president of Invista Apparel, said legwear was of strategic importance to his company and insisted that it would continue to bring new ideas to makers and retailers of hosiery. For example, Lycra Fusion, which helps stop laddering in stockings, which Invista launched at the first Lycra Fiber Moves event in Verona in 2009, is now active in 21 retail programmes around the world, Mr Trerotola explained, offering companies what he called “differentiation at a vital time in the global economy”.
More than 300 delegates from 25 countries attended the event.
