Tavex launches Acquasave fabrics

29/11/2011
Spanish-Brazilian denim and workwear fabrics manufacturer Tavex has launched a new collection of fabrics that use “a revolutionary technology”, which the company claims can reduce by more than 300,000 litres the consumption of water during the dyeing process.

This figure is based on Tavex’s daily output; it calculates a saving of 12 litres of water per garment.

Tavex’s “revolutionary technology” is called Acquasave, but so far the company has offered little information about how it achieves the reduction in water consumption.
