US-based performance sock brand Injinji is expanding its company with the appointment of two new key executives, announcing Russell Nadel as senior vice president of operations and general manager and George Schott as vice president of sales and marketing.

Individually and collectively bringing extensive industry experience to Injinji, Mr Nadel and Mr Schott will assume integral roles in maintaining and building upon the company’s current growth.

As senior vice president of operations and general manager, Mr Nadel will be responsible for overseeing all corporate operations, supply chain, and product development.

“I am stoked to become the newest member of the growing Injinji family and am excited by the opportunity to work with such a dedicated organisation of individuals who live the Injinji experience each and every day,” said Mr Nadel.

Mr Nadel will report directly to Injinji CEO Jason Battenfield.

“I am thrilled that an executive of Russell’s caliber has joined the Injinji team,” said Mr Battenfield. “He brings a broad base of skills and will be a tremendous asset at an exciting time when company growth is unparalleled. With his stellar combination of industry experience, business acumen and athletic affinity to Injinji’s core consumer, I am confident he will help take Injinji to the next level.”

Reporting to Mr Nadel, Mr Schott, as vice president of sales and marketing, will help lead continued company expansion by growing Injinji sales, expanding distribution within the US and international marketplaces and managing the sales rep program.
